Pony Rides
Pony rides available for parties and events. We provide pony rides at the farm (ask about using our farm for your next party) or at your location. We have provided pony rides for birthday parties, community events, daycare facilities, school programs and summer camps. Pony rides are $200 per hour. The ponies are hand-led inside a picket fence pen while our instructors teach the riders about the ponies and basic horseback riding. The ponies can also match the party theme. We have ponies of several heights to accommodate a variety of ages.
Horsemanship and Riding Lessons
Our programs teach proper handling and understanding of horse behavior needed to develop a partnership with the horse and a desire to continue riding and learning about horses. We have ponies and horses available to teach all ages. Lessons are $40 per hour. We offer a variety of lesson programs: *Horseback Riding lessons that focus on horsemanship and riding. *A special Pony Pals horseback riding program for ages 4 - 7 years old. *A horse centered program for anyone who loves spending time working with and learning about horses but prefer not to ride. * We also have programs designed to meet the 4-H Horsemanship Goals, Boy Scout Horsemanship Merit Badge, Girl Scout Horseback Riding Badge, Physical Education for Homeschooling Programs, and every horse/pony lover. Farm Tours and Goat Walks
The farm is home to a variety of breeds of goats, pigs, ponies, horses, and miniature horses. Visitors will have the opportunity to pet, brush, and feed the animals. Questions and pictures are encouraged. The goats love to take walks on the farm with the visitors. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to take the goats for a walk. The Farm Tour and Goat Walk is $10 per person. Visitors of all ages can also add a pony/horse ride for an additional $10 per person. Appointments are required.
Services
Free MANURE
Aged horse and goat manure. Looks like top soil. Get your garden ready for spring. Bring trash can or bags to fill or we can use the tractor to load your truck or trailer. Contact the farm for more info and to schedule a day to pick up.
Goat Petting Zoo
Goat petting zoo available for your party or event. The goats are enclosed in a picket fence pen. Visitors are encouraged to enter the pen to pet, brush, and feed treats to the goats. Visitors are introduced to the goats and given information on why each goat is unique, learn about the different types of goats, and fun goat facts. Goat petting zoo is $200 per hour.
Summer Camp
Spend summer on the farm learning about goats, pigs, ponies, horses, and miniature horses. Each day of camp includes farm animals, horseback riding, educational activities, games and crafts. Learn how silly, gross, and oh so fun it is on the farm. Did you know goats love to burp? Fun farm science experiments. Did someone say we get to make horse toothpaste? Barnyard Clue. Farm scavenger hunts and escape room games. A day on the ranch. Western theme activities.

Painted Bay Farm LLC is a small family owned farm in Southern New Jersey. The farm has a variety of activities and educational programs for all ages. The activities and programs are created and presented by a NJ Certified Teacher of Science K-12 and 4-H leader. We have owned horses for over 35 years. Throughout this time we have been caring for, showing, and teaching others about horses. Over the years we have added goats and pigs to the farm family.
We enjoy working on our farm and wish to share our joy and knowledge with others.
